Heaven.
Is New York, on a sunny winter day.
Where the breeze is mild but no fog in sight.
I’d be in my red circle skirt.
The one I sewed for 3 days last minute just for this trip.
Except this isn’t a trip.
This would be my home.
I’d be there and you’d be there.
Though I’ve never seen you in your jean jacket from the photographs, but you’d be wearing that.
We’d be at the park, section after section, at the stretching park.
Central Park.
Start at the zoo and work our way around the strawberry fields.
Leave a single rose, at the John Lennon mosaic. And 🍃Imagine🍃
We’d be there all day.
A day that never ends nor turns night but the sun is set.
Always.
The sky wouldn’t be blue, nor white.
But oranges and red streaming through the towers and buildings.
It’d just be me and you all day.
On a never ending day.
As the world falls to pieces
The night is an abyss, never knowing if we’d make it out alive until the next day.
The sun rises but it falls against the shadows and all hope is gone.
Never knowing if I’d get to see you again.
I’m stuck in this abyss.
Waiting for you to fall with me.
Or have the world crashing down into the Darkness.
Damage to where we can not be fixed.
And we’d end up in silence.
We’d end up in Heaven.
In New York.
Where the sun is always set and the day never ends.
In my red circle skirt, and you in your jean jacket.
What a lovely day.
